At Mayan, we take immense pride in the artistry and precision of our jewellery. Each piece undergoes a rigorous multi-point inspection before it leaves our hands.
Because our pieces are handcrafted to the highest standards, we accept returns exclusively in the rare instance of a verifiable manufacturing defect.
1. Eligibility for Return
To maintain the integrity of our collections, a return will only be processed if it meets the following strict criteria:
• Notification Window: You must notify our team of the defect within 30 days of the original purchase date.
• Pristine Condition: The item must be strictly unused, unworn, and in its original condition.
• Original Packaging: The piece must be returned with all original Mayan packaging, including the luxury red box, protective inserts, and any diamond certification (GIA/IGI/HRD) provided at the time of sale.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Please note that the following are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for return or exchange unless a structural manufacturing defect is present:
• Custom/Bespoke Orders: Any piece designed or modified specifically for you.
• Resized Items: Rings that have been resized at your request.
• Engraved Pieces: Jewellery that has been personalized with custom engravings.
3. The Inspection Process
Upon receiving your returned item, our master jewellers will conduct a comprehensive forensic inspection.
• Verification: We verify that the diamonds and gold match our internal laser-inscribed records and weight specifications.
• Condition Check: We inspect for signs of wear, accidental damage, or third-party alterations (which void this policy).
• Resolution: If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will issue a 100% full refund to your original payment method or offer a brand-new replacement, according to your preference.
4. Return Shipping & Logistics
We believe that resolving a quality issue should be effortless for you:
• Complimentary Return Labels: If a defect is suspected, we will provide a pre-paid, fully insured express shipping label.
• Secure Transit: For security reasons, do not ship any jewellery back to us without a pre-authorized Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and our official courier label.
