Shipping Policy

1. Processing & Delivery Timelines

Every piece of Mayan Jewellery undergoes a final quality inspection before being dispatched.

Order Processing: Please allow 1–2 business days for order verification and packaging.

UAE Delivery: Orders within the UAE typically arrive within 3–5 working days.

• International Delivery: International orders typically arrive within 6–9 working days. Please note that delivery times may vary slightly based on your local customs processing speeds.

2. Discreet & Secure Packaging

To maintain the security of your purchase, all items are shipped in high-quality, durable packaging. For your protection, the exterior of our shipping boxes is discreet and does not explicitly mention "diamonds" or "jewellery" to prevent tampering during transit.

3. Insurance & Signature Requirement

Because we deal in high-value natural diamonds, your security is our priority:

• Full Insurance: Every shipment is fully insured by Mayan Jewellery until it reaches your doorstep.

Direct Signature: To ensure your package reaches the intended recipient, a direct signature is required upon delivery. We cannot waive this requirement or authorize "safe place" drop-offs.

• Identification: The courier may request a form of government-issued ID to verify the recipient’s identity.

4. International Customs, Duties & Taxes

For our international clientele:

• Import Obligations: Please be aware that your order may be subject to local import duties, VAT, or customs taxes once the shipment reaches your country.

• Payment: These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Mayan Jewellery does not collect these fees upfront.

• Delays: We are not responsible for delays caused by the customs clearing process in the destination country.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your Express Tracking Number. You can monitor your shipment’s progress directly via the courier’s website.

6. Unclaimed Packages

In the event that a package is returned to us because it was unclaimed or the recipient was unavailable for multiple delivery attempts, the customer may be responsible for the cost of re-shipping the item.
